About Foodflip
Distributors of Hope
Founded in 2018, we aspire to reduce food waste while providing free, safe-to-eat food for the less fortunate. But that's not all. After successfully donating over 700 kg of fruit and over 120,000 pieces of bread we have found that food redistribution is a sustainable way to ensure all stakeholders benefit from the exchange. It is better for retailers, who would have to discard the food due to legal restrictions. It is better for the underprivileged children who need nutritious food but are limited by funding and donations. Most of all, it is better for the planet, because of the efficient use of resources.
While we have started off our journey with food, we hope to expand our message of sustainability to other areas.
